Best Brunch Spots in Greater Palm Springs

A visit to Greater Palm Springs isn’t complete without a few great meals while exploring the desert land.  When it comes to deciding where to grab that first bite of the day, here are our favorite spots for enjoying everyone’s favorite meal in the sunshine. 

NORMA’S: PALM SPRINGS

Norma’s, the brightly colored open-air terrace restaurant located at The Parker Palm Springs. The ambiance here is a bohemian luxury vibe. Go gluten-free, vegan, or vegetarian. Reservations are necessary, so please call or RSVP online.

FARM: PALM SPRINGS

The experience at Farm is like being transported to the South of France. You can expect an extraordinary sensory experience; from their garden-like patio seating, beautiful bouquet of floral landscaping, to their incredible authentic menu comprised of the freshest ingredients, you will be wowed at every turn.

THE PINK CABANA: INDIAN WELLS

A quick 30-minute drive from downtown Palm Springs, The Pink Cabana is located at Sands Hotel & Spa. The Pink Cabana is an ingredient-driven restaurant featuring Mediterranean cuisine and Moroccan influence.  Their menu offers health-conscious options such as an acai bowl (berries, chia seeds, almond milk, turmeric granola), Sands breakfast (two eggs, Applewood smoked bacon, Yukon golds, country bread), or Sands benedict (Niman Ranch beef, iceberg, turmeric pickles, tomato, soft farmers' cheese, harissa aioli). The Pink Cabana is also a  highly curated wine and spirit destination. Featuring unique wines from Mediterranean climates designed to pair with all of our culinary offerings. They also feature a variety of complex seasonal cocktails influenced by the Great Spice Route. 

CAFE AT THE SHIELDS: INDIO

Shields Date Garden has offered a unique experience -  local nostalgia since 1924.  At Café at Shields, guests will find a selection of locally farm-fresh dates tastefully incorporated into their menu. Choose from a California cuisine-style menu, Gluten-free, and vegetarian options.  After brunch, you can catch their short film on The Romance and Sex life of the Date and also grab a souvenir from their local gift shop. 

TWENTY6: LA QUINTA

Nestled at the foot of the Santa Rosa Mountains, at the  La Quinta  Resort & Club, TWENTY6 is a modern American bistro that offers an innovative twist on familiar breakfast favorites. Here it’s all about the experience of treasured architectural charm and village atmosphere.

SPENCER’S RESTAURANT: PALM SPRINGS

Spencer's offers the quintessential Palm Springs experience. Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Spencer's offers a popular Palm Springs tradition of culinary excellence featuring a fresh approach to classic American cuisine with a Pacific Rim influence. Try one of their many varieties of eggs benedict, which are also available gluten-free, or one of the house specialties like the grilled salmon salad or the spinach and wild mushroom frittata. THE COLONY CLUB: PALM SPRINGS

The Colony Club restaurant at The Colony Palms Hotel and Bungalows serves up incredible options for breakfast. You can dine inside the main dining room with its modern take on Art Deco glamour or enjoy warm breezes while eating al-fresco with views of the pool and mountains. Enjoy dishes like the black pearl caviar (crème Fraiche, fresh shallots, egg whites, and chives), Portuguese sausage hash (smoked linguica, bell pepper, pepperoncini, cheddar, and fried eggs), and huevos rancheros (with black beans, crispy tortilla, pork belly, guacamole.

KING’S HIGHWAY AT ACE HOTEL & SWIM CLUB: PALM SPRINGS

King’s Highway and The Amigo Room is a desert diner and cozy bar at Ace Hotel & Swim Club. Experience a bohemian spirit in a vintage diner setting. They serve a seasonal menu featuring sustainable, farm-fresh ingredients handcrafted cocktails Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

CHEEKYS PALM SPRINGS 

Who knew eggs could cause a dining revolution in Palm Springs? A decade and a cult following later, Cheeky’s quirky brand of comfort cuisine continues to be synonymous with Palm Springs today. Their fresh and inventive menu is made from scratch using the freshest local ingredients. It changes weekly, serving up and on breakfast and lunch—with super fun vibes—in a bright indoor-outdoor setting.

WILMA & FRIEDA: PALM SPRINGS, PALM DESERT 

Wilma & Frieda’s, named after the owner’s two grandmothers, serves delicious comfort food with a contemporary twist. With two locations in downtown Palm Springs and the other located on El Paseo in Palm Desert, this is a perfect breakfast spot for jump-starting a day of shopping. Their signature griddled meatloaf & eggs feature a thick cut of homestyle meatloaf topped with two eggs any style, or for a sweet treat, try the blackberry custard French toast (bread pudding-like French toast topped with house-made blackberry sauce and fresh blackberries). You will also love their new baked goods (including homemade pop tarts!), which can be enjoyed at a table or picked up to go.
