PALM SPRINGS RETREAT
Set against the quiet beauty of the California desert, Island Tribe Wellness and BASI Pilates came together for an intimate weekend retreat rooted in movement, restoration, and meaningful connection.
Hosted at The Oasis, Island Tribe Wellness’ mountain destination tucked into the hills above Palm Springs, the experience unfolded among rolling desert mountains, open sky, and the stillness of nature. Throughout the weekend, guests were invited into a slower rhythm, one shaped by wellness, beauty, thoughtful rituals, and the restorative ease of desert living.
From golden hour gatherings to nourishing rituals, movement, and moments of rest, the retreat reflected the heart of Island Tribe Wellness: a way of gathering, reconnecting, and returning to presence.

Inside the warmth of The Oasis, the experience continued through quiet details, curated wellness gifts from Masktini, sunlit interiors layered with natural textures, and simple moments that invited guests to pause.
Masktini, a beauty and self-care brand rooted in the mind-skin connection, brought a thoughtful layer to the weekend. Their philosophy reminds us that how we feel within often reflects outward, and that even one small ritual, a minute of softness, care, or self-kindness, can become part of our well-being.

The experience celebrated food as ritual, simple, nourishing, and deeply connected to the body’s natural need to restore. Through Mala Girl’s Botanical Broth Bar, guests were welcomed into a warm, grounding moment of organic broths, fresh herbs, citrus, and mineral-rich ingredients designed to comfort, replenish, and bring everyone back to the present.

As evening unfolded, the retreat moved gently into its quietest rhythm. Guests lingered in the last light, received bodywork, and allowed the cool mountain air to soften the pace of the day. As dusk settled over The Oasis, the night opened into cacao, breathwork, and deep rest beneath the stars — a closing ritual of presence, release, and gratitude to end the first day.
